Operation Hat Trick (OHT) Makes Donation to New Organization Supporting Veteran Outreach
HAMPTON, N.H., April 9, 2026 – Operation Hat Trick (OHT), an innovative non-profit supporting the recovery of wounded service members and veterans, announced today they have made a donation to a non-profit organization supporting spouses of military veterans.
The Restored Heart Collective’s mission is to create space for the spouses of veterans to come home to themselves, to connect, to heal, and to be held in community.
“Operation Hat Trick supports the recovery of wounded service members and veterans,” says Dot Sheehan, Founder and CEO of OHT. “Caretaking is very much a part of every recovery. And in the process of this caretaking, those who do the toughest job imaginable, lose their identity and place in the world, as well as suffer from extreme loneliness, stress and anxiety. Our donation will allow The Restored Heart Collective to grow, and the chance for the inner work to become the outer world.”
“We are deeply moved by Operation Hat Trick's incredible generosity and unwavering commitment to those who have served our country,” said Co-Founders Cathy Turner and Jackie Wojtak. “This donation is a gift that will ripple far beyond our organization and into the hearts of the people we exist to serve: the spouses of veterans. So often, the spouse quietly holds everything together, sacrificing alongside their partner in ways the world rarely sees. This donation will allow more spouses to find their way to a sacred space where they can reconnect with themselves, experience healing, and feel truly supported in community. We are so moved that Operation Hat Trick shares our belief: when we support the spouse, we strengthen the entire family,” they concluded.
About Operation Hat Trick
Operation Hat Trick is recognized by GuideStar as a Platinum seal of transparency organization for its responsible stewardship (https:/learn.guidestar.org/platinum). Dedicated to Nate Hardy and Mike Koch, two Navy SEALs who were killed in Iraq in 2008 and are buried side by side at Arlington National Cemetery, OHT never forgets their sacrifice.
OHT is differentiated from other veteran-focused nonprofits by its innovative operating model. OHT pioneered the first national philanthropic co-branded cause marketing retail apparel licensing program. Rather than relying on donations to raise money, OHT receives a royalty on every product purchase of co-branded apparel and merchandise in conjunction with over 500 supporting American colleges and universities, as well as many NHL, NBA and MiLB teams. Its products are also available via online retailers such as Fanatics, Amazon and national retailers including Cracker Barrel, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Academy Sports & Outdoors, Kohl’s, Lids, Scheels and more.
