Operation Hat Trick Makes A Donation to the New England Center and Home for Veterans
HAMPTON, N.H., and BOSTON, M.A. (February 11, 2021) – Operation Hat Trick, a nonprofit that supports the recovery of wounded service members and veterans through the sale of its branded merchandise, recently made a donation to the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV).
The donation will be used for their Senior Veteran Wellness Program, to ensure veterans can age with dignity and specific support for their needs.
The Center’s Senior Veteran Wellness Program works to ensure that Veterans can age with dignity and with an array of support specific to their needs. The overall objective is to enable Veteran success, and improve their wellness and quality of life. Ensuring that Veterans have access to, and are supported in appropriate and sustainable independent living is a major element of Center’s focus. Economic stability, behavioral health, and housing assistance are important requirements for the success of formerly homeless Veterans.
Operation Hat Trick began in 2008 in honor of two fallen Navy SEALS, Nate Hardy and Mike Koch, who are buried next to each other at Arlington National Cemetery. The nonprofit works with colleges and universities, sports leagues, companies and fans across the U.S. to honor active-duty military and veterans through the sale of its branded merchandise. “Operation Hat Trick is proud and honored of the support we have received and continue to receive, thus making it possible for us to have an impact and make a difference for those in need at the New England Center and Home for Veterans,” said Dot Sheehan, founder, president/CEO of Operation Hat Trick. “Our mission is to support the recovery of wounded service members and veterans, so the mission of the NECHV continues to align with our mission, and the need is greater, perhaps now, more than ever.”
