Original Retro Brand And Operation Hat Trick (OHT) Announce Licensing Partnership To Support Veterans And Service Members
HAMPTON, NH and LOS ANGELES, CA (July 28, 2020) – Operation Hat Trick (OHT) today announced a partnership with Original Retro Brand, a leading vintage apparel company.
OHT has granted Retro Brand non-exclusive rights to produce a comprehensive line of OHT apparel and face coverings, which will be offered to consumers via their website and other retailers, with an interest in supporting wounded and recovering veterans and service members. Apparel, masks and neck gaiters will include co-branded opportunities, as well as military camouflage and Americana theming.
“Retro Brand is a terrific partner, since they are strongly committed to service,” said Dot Sheehan, Founder and CEO of Operation Hat Trick. “We value this commitment and believe our partnership will positively impact our mission, and we are proud to partner with them to support our veterans and service members.” The Original Retro Brand is poised to do its part in giving back to those that have sacrificed so much for our freedoms. With this new partnership, Retro Brand will seamlessly integrate Operation Hat Trick into the company’s extensive online catalog, more than 200 fashion forward boutiques from coast to coast, high end premium stores as well as college bookstores, sports venues, and fan shops across the country. Retro Brand is pleased to share in the success of OHT and help support this great cause.
The Original Retro Brand uniquely provides customers with a vertical one- stop shop of garment manufacturing. With vertical production capabilities under one roof, the company does the knitting, dying, cutting, sewing, embellishing, packaging and distribution of products all in-house. “We don’t have to outsource, so our operation is streamlined and tightly controlled,” says company president, Sam Simchon. “It takes the guess work out of the production process which our customers appreciate.”
OHT’s unique licensed product business model was born in college licensing and is the first of its kind. The brand is widely supported by professional sports leagues, colleges and universities and a growing list of brands in and outside of sports.
