Operation Hat Trick Adds Two Members To Its Board Of Directors

HAMPTON, NH, (July 30, 2020) - Operation Hat Trick (OHT), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting wounded U.S. combat veterans, has added two new members to its Board of Directors at its latest Annual Board meeting, held virtually in late July.

OHTChris Nyland is the Chief Operating Officer of The Campus Agency, an award-winning, nontraditional media, and marketing agency based in Boston, MA that specializes in helping brands make strong consumer connections with the college/Gen Z demographic via influencer, digital and experiential marketing campaigns. Prior to his time at The Campus Agency, Nyland has led branded partnership divisions at the University of Connecticut and the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. He has also gained relevant marketing experience at the University of New Hampshire, University of Miami, IMG, and the World Baseball Classic/Major League Baseball.

"I am deeply honored to join the Board of Directors of Operation Hat Trick, an organization that has been close to my heart since the day it started,” said Nyland of his appointment. “Watching its growth over the years and the support its mission has provided to wounded service members and veterans has been incredible to see. I am really looking forward to working with the rest of the team to help bring OHT to even higher levels in the days and years ahead."

OHTRyan Stevens (pictured with his family) retired in 2018 from the United States Marine Corps as a Gunnery Sergeant. He served in 2D ANGLICO, MARSOC and NSW DEVGRU conducting ten combat deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC). Ryan is the recipient of two Purple Hearts and multiple valor awards to include the Bronze Star Medal. He is a graduate of the American Military University. Ryan and his devoted wife Stephanie currently own and operate Full Armor Farm in New Vineyard, Maine where they raise Scottish Highland beef cattle, maple syrup, apple cider and chicken eggs. Ryan and Stephanie are blessed to be raising three beautiful children (RJ, Ester and Gideon).

Of his appointment to the Board of Directors, Stevens said “I feel blessed to be welcomed into an organization that has their heart in the right place helping warriors who have sacrificed so much for this great nation. God bless America!”

Through the sale of branded merchandise and member donations, Operation Hat Trick donations have helped dozens of organizations that provide direct services and support to wounded service members and veterans. They include Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Veterans Count, the Navy SEAL Foundation, the Travis Mills Foundation, Liberty House, Project Sanctuary, Semper Fi Fund, Warriors Ice Hockey Programs, Hero Flights and the Yellow Ribbon Fund.
