Jim Clanton and Denise Lamb appointed to OHT Board of Directors

HAMPTON, NH (January 3, 2018) – Operation Hat Trick (OHT) appointed two experienced and proven professionals to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2018.

Jim Clanton, currently Licensing Director at Old Dominion University (ODU), will join the Board for a three year term as a full voting member. Since his arrival at ODU in 2014, he has advanced OHT by integrating the cause within the University’s many military support and recognition activities. Jim and ODU earned honorable mention honors and were finalists for OHT’s Excellence in Service Award the last two years.

Prior to joining ODU, Jim was a collegiate licensed product buyer for major sports retailer Hibbett Sports for 14 years. A graduate of Troy University, he is the first University licensing director representative on OHT’s nine-member Board of Directors.

Collegiate retail and licensing stalwart Denise Lamb will join the OHT Board as a Marketing and Retail Development Advisor. She has been integrally involved in supporting OHT since it launched as a national brand in 2012, providing marketing and retail development guidance that has helped OHT achieve significant growth. Denise will now assume a more formal role in her new appointment as a non-voting advisor. She is the second of two advisors on the OHT Board.

As Vice President for IMG College Licensing, Denise has more than 30 years experience in collegiate retail, marketing, and brand licensing and is a thought leader within the collegiate licensing industry.

“We’re excited Jim and Denise will be joining the OHT Board.” said Dot Sheehan, OHT Founder and President of the Board. “They’ve both made strong and unwavering commitments to OHT and continue to promote the cause, helping make it one of the most successful non-profit licensing stories in the country. Their involvement will help OHT maintain its high ethical standards and increase its support for wounded veterans and service members across America.”
