’47 and Operation Hat Trick Extend Partnership to Support America’s Wounded and Recovering Service Members and Veterans
Sports lifestyle brand develops licensed product with portion of proceeds benefiting numerous military not-for-profits
Boston, MA – (January 19, 2018) – ’47, a privately held premium sports lifestyle brand, has announced it has extended its partnership with Operation Hat Trick (OHT), a non profit organization that generates awareness, support and funding for the recovery of America’s wounded veterans & service members via donations to select organizations throughout the country. ’47 will continue as the exclusive headwear and semi-exclusive apparel partner of OHT through 2021.
Joining forces at the ground level, ’47 has been a proud partner of OHT since 2011. ’47 brings its extensive sports licensing portfolio to OHT co-branded products, including licenses for hundreds of collegiate programs and numerous NHL, NBA and MiLB teams. What began as merely three headwear styles at inception has grown into more than 12, with eight apparel offerings (including both men’s and women’s), four sock styles and various accessories. The support from consumers and retailers has allowed the partnership to flourish in recent years.

Funds for the program are generated on a percentage of sales and proceeds are divided amongst organizations that support wounded and recovering service members and veterans. Some of the organizations that have benefited from OHT funding include: Adaptive Training Foundation, Canine Companions for Independence, Exalted Warrior Foundation, Brazos Valley Cares, AL Marines Foundation, Combat Wounded Coalition, Idaho Veterans Garden, Warriors for Freedom Foundation, Project Sanctuary, The Yellow Ribbon Fund, Veterans Count, the Navy SEAL Foundation, Semper Fi Fund, the Warrior Bonfire Project, Liberty House, Ironstone Farm, Homes For Our Troops, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
