Louisville, KY – (November 9, 2016) – Texas Roadhouse is doubling down on Veterans day. In addition to serving free meals to veterans and active military, some restaurant locations will sell Operation Hat Trick (OHT) hats, created exclusively for the partnership.

Operation Hat Trick supports the recovery of America’s wounded service members and veterans by donating 100% of hat proceeds to organizations that support its mission. The funds help American service members and veterans as they recover from the visible and invisible wounds of war so they can move past the traumas of battle and focus on their lives and families at home.

"Operation Hat Trick is proud and honored to partner with Texas Roadhouse because they are very big supporters of the military and veterans,” says Dot Sheehan-Founder/President-Operation Hat Trick. “By selling these hats, the restaurants help further OHT's mission to fill the gaps in care and support the recovery of wounded service members and veterans. We do this one veteran in need at a time."

The Operation Hat Trick hats will be available at select Texas Roadhouse restaurants and at www.texasroadhouse.com. Proceeds from the sale of the hats will be donated Operation Hat Trick.

“We’re always looking for additional ways to thank and support our military,” says Kent Taylor, Founder and CEO of Texas Roadhouse. “We’re thrilled to partner with Operation Hat Trick and support their efforts to help America’s wounded veterans, active service members and their families.”

Operation Hat Trick raises awareness and support for wounded service members and veterans through the sale of OHT branded merchandise and donates to those organizations that support OHT’s mission. OHT is dedicated to Nate Hardy and Mike Koch, two Navy SEALS who were killed in 2008.
