Red River Technology Foundation Partners with Operation Hat Trick to Support Veterans and their Families
Two organizations with a mission and history of helping service members, veterans and their families are joining forces to expand their efforts in serving members of the military who bravely serve our country. Operation Hat Trick (OHT) is a nationwide organization comprised 240 colleges and universities, major and minor league sports teams and companies, and the Red River Technology Foundation (RRTF) is the philanthropic arm of Red River, a leading provider of IT hardware integration, maintenance and support services and a long-time supporter of veterans in both NH and VT.
“The opportunity to partner with Operation Hat Trick couldn’t have come at a better time. We were looking to make an even greater impact with veterans and felt the mission of OHT was perfectly in line with our own mission. We were thrilled to have Dot Sheehan address our entire staff and tell the OHT story. It was a great kick off to our Day of Service at the VA in White River Junction, VT.”, said Rick Bolduc, Red River CEO and RRTF President. “We have developed hats in conjunction with OHT and the proceeds go to veterans in our region. Our employees and supporters have been very enthusiastic about them and we look forward to offering other OHT products.”
Operation Hat Trick originated at the University of New Hampshire and generates awareness, support and funding for the recovery of America’s wounded warriors, both active service members and veterans. Operation Hat Trick pursues these goals through the sale of branded merchandise, proceeds of which are distributed to selected organizations that provide direct services to wounded warriors.
