Operation Hat Trick Conquers 6,289 Feet

Operation Hat Trick has been to the Great Wall of China, Mt. Everest and now OHT has made it up 6,289 feet to the summit of Mt. Washington.

Joseph Sullivan, Sully or JT as he is known to his friends, is a pilot with Jet Blue Airlines, and has just successfully climbed Mt. Washington with close friend, Simon Towers, wearing an OHT hat for the entire hike. Sully told OHT Founder and CEO, Dot Sheehan, that he “hiked several New Hampshire mountains over the years but not the tallest and most difficult”. Simon, on the other hand, had climbed to Mt. Washington’s summit several times before so they were relying on his past experiences to get them safely up the 6,289 feet.

Sullivan told Sheehan “Having that hat on my head helped keep me motivated to reach the summit”. Operation Hat Trick would like to thank Sully, as well as all other supporters, for their dedication and passion for the program. It is amazing people like Sully who have helped make OHT what it is today.

Operation Hat Trick generates awareness, support, and funding for the recovery of America’s wounded warriors, both active service members and veterans. OHT pursues these goals through the sale of OHT branded merchandise, proceeds of which are distributed to selected organizations that provide direct services to our wounded warriors.
