Zephyr And Operation Hat Trick Launch OHT TOKYODACHI

HAMPTON, NH and LOVELAND, CO (February 12, 2019) – Operation Hat Trick (OHT) today announced a partnership with Zephyr Graf-X to design and launch an OHT branded TOKYODACHI character and product line.

The new OHT TOKYODACHI character celebrates the American military and the contributions of military personnel through its military camo attire, and patriotic American themes, including red, white, and blue colors, and the US stars and stripes. Japan, a strong ally of the USA, is home to more than 100,000 American troops, other US government employees, and their dependents.

Zephyr, which has enjoyed phenomenal success among consumers with its TOKYODACHI lifestyle collection, will soon roll out a line of OHT TOKYODACHI apparel and non-apparel products, including collectible figurines, bobbleheads, decals, toys, stickers, and other items.  The product will be made available on Zephyr’s consumer facing website at tokyodachi.com and through participating retailers.

The sale of OHT TOKYODACHI product will generate funds that will go to support OHT’s military support mission and is a unique way for OHT to communicate its military support message to a more youthful demographic.

“Zephyr has been an industry leader for decades and is known for its unrivaled level of creativity,” said Dot Sheehan, Founder and CEO of Operation Hat Trick. “We appreciate Zephyr’s willingness to create an OHT TOKYODACHI that can help us to expand our military support mission to a new, younger consumer base.”

Operation Hat Trick, a 501c3 organization, increases awareness, support and funding for the recovery of wounded service members and veterans through the sale of branded merchandise, proceeds of which are distributed to selected organizations that support OHT’s mission.  OHT’s unique licensed product business model was born in college licensing and is the first of its kind. The brand is widely supported by professional sports leagues, colleges and universities and a growing list of brands in and outside of sports.

“Since I started Zephyr in 1993, I have seen a number of good cause related products and brands, however none have seemed to me to be as impactful as OHT. Operation Hat Trick is one of the best brand stories in the licensing industry,” said Zephyr Owner David Gormley. “We couldn’t be more proud to leverage our exciting new TOKYODACHI program for the benefit of the military through OHT.  People are going to be surprised at how much interest the new OHT character is going to generate among retailers and consumers.”
