FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HAMPTON, N.H. (July 10, 2019) – Operation Hat Trick, a nonprofit that supports the recovery of wounded service members and veterans through the sale of its branded merchandise, recently made a donation to three organizations dedicated to supporting service members and veterans.  Those three organizations are Canine Companions for Independence, Charleston, SC Warriors Hockey, and the EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) Warrior Foundation.

The donations will be used in many different ways, including assisting with filling gaps in critical care, supplies for a veterans hockey team, and providing cutting-edge physical therapy to wounded veterans.

Operation Hat Trick began in 2008 in honor of two fallen Navy SEALS, Nate Hardy and Mike Koch, who are buried next to each other at Arlington National Cemetery.  The nonprofit works with colleges and universities, sports leagues, companies and fans across the U.S. to honor active-duty military and veterans through the sale of its branded merchandise.

“Operation Hat Trick is thrilled to be able provide support to these three organizations,” said Dot Sheehan, founder, president/CEO of Operation Hat Trick. “Our mission is to support the recovery of wounded service members and veterans, so these organizations align perfectly with that mission.”

Since 2014, Operation Hat Trick has donated over $1.2 million to various veteran service organizations to support the recovery of service members and veterans.
